We had the people from Bear Lake Soil & Water Conservation come today to teach the students about soils and animals. It was a nice transition from vacation to learning. The students tried to identify different animal pelts. They learned about the uses of soil in our lives. Then they made molds of different animal tracks. Then it was topped off by making our own soil out of some very delicious substitutes.
