This morning we reviewed our spelling words and then went to the library to type.  Please make sure that your student is studying these words at home.  In math we learned about multiplying a whole number with a fraction.  During social studies we learned about different groups that came into Idaho that made it what it is.  First, of course, were the Native Americans followed by Lewis and Clark.  Next came the trappers and then different religious groups.  We watched a video showing all of this.

You should be receiving a note from me.  I would like to meet with all of the parents in the next two to three weeks to make sure we are doing all we can to prepare your child for the 5th grade.  Please email me at cwinward@wssd.k12.id.us and we can work out a time.

Tomorrow, at 10:30, students will watch the ballroom dance teams.  That is always fascinating.
